This week we photographed one of our wonderful makeup artists, Monique Torres from Zalique Makeup. We had been wanting to get Monique in front of the camera for the past 18 months but she was a bit too nervous. We managed to convince her to come in for a few portraits and we had an amazing session with her. Even though she actively avoided being on the other side of the camera, she was a natural. She has a grace and poise which made our job so easy and the results, amazing.
Now Monique knows first hand what a session is like as she is often asked by our clients. She had such a great time that she is planning a trip back with her husband for a romantic couples session.
If you are searching for the right Brisbane photographer to capture your personality and spirit then please get in touch. We would love to have the opportunity to give you amazing photographs that you never thought were possible. Monique may even end up being your makeup artist for your session.
Please call Karen on 0402 230 669 if you would like to discuss your own personally designed photography session.
We’ve just had a few weeks off so to get back into the swing of things I did a self portrait.
All my self portraits are serious so I thought I’d do one that was a bit more fun.
Hope you like it.
It is always a privilege to be asked by a fellow photographer to shoot them. Rachel drove from Coffs Harbour to come to us for her portrait photographs which makes us feel rather honored. Rachel will be using the image with the camera as her corporate identity image and the rest were for her and her boyfriend.
If you would like a session like this for yourself please contact Karen on 0402 230669 or by email.
Having had a busy first half to the year, in fact the best year we’ve ever had, we took a couple of weeks off and tomorrow we’re fully back into the swing of things, so to warm up a little, we did a few self portraits of myself.
The first few were taken on the last day of shoots, and the later ones are taken at the end of the break.
I wanted to capture myself tired and worn out, unshaven and then at the end of a break, still unshaven but clearly less tired and ready to get back to work.
